Our Privacy Promise (Kid-Friendly Version)
This page explains how we look after you when you use this website. It is written for children first, with a section for grown-ups at the bottom.
The short version
- We don't know who you are. You never have to type your name, email or anything else. There are no accounts and no sign-up.
- We don't follow you around. No cookies that remember you, no trackers, nothing that watches what you do on other websites.
- There are no adverts. Nobody is trying to sell you anything on the lesson pages.
- You can't post here, and neither can anyone else. No comments, no chat, no messages from strangers.
- The 3D scenes and quizzes happen on your device. Your quiz answers are never sent to us.
What we do count
We count how many times each page is looked at, so we know which lessons are helpful and which need fixing. We use a tool that does this without cookies and without knowing who you are — it's like a turnstile at a museum that clicks when someone walks through, but doesn't take a photo. It doesn't store your address on the internet (your IP address) in a way that can identify you.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, like the glossary linking to a lesson, or the footer linking to the developer who built this site. Once you leave this site, the other site's rules apply. We only link to places we think are safe, but ask a grown-up if you are unsure.
If something is wrong
If you find a mistake, something that scared you, or something that doesn't work, please ask a grown-up to tell us using the contact details on the developer's website. We will fix it.
For grown-ups
This site is designed to meet the UK Information Commissioner's Office Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code) and UK GDPR by not processing personal data at all:
- No accounts, forms, comments or user-generated content. No data is collected from children or anyone else.
- No advertising, no third-party marketing or behavioural tracking scripts.
- Analytics: cookieless, aggregate page-view counts via a privacy-focused provider (Plausible, hosted in the EU) that does not use persistent identifiers, does not perform cross-site tracking and does not store raw IP addresses. No consent banner is required because no cookies or personal data are used. Site operators can remove analytics entirely by deleting one script tag.
- Fonts and all code are served from this site's own domain — no third-party font or CDN requests that could log visitors.
- 3D scenes run entirely in the browser; no scene state is transmitted.
- Default settings are the most private settings. There is nothing to opt into or out of.
- Content is written to be honest and age-appropriate, presenting risks without alarm and avoiding manipulative design (no streaks, rewards, notifications or "keep going" nudges).
